Worldwide solidarity with Waldorf education - this is what is behind Waldorf One World Day, or WOW Day for short. On a certain day, people take action by collecting donations in various ways and donate the money to Waldorf institutions in need. Already for the fifth time the Waldorfské třídy ZŠ Dědina took part in the action day in Prague. Helena Kottová tells us how the WOW-Day went:
„On September 29, 2019, our school organized a Michaelmas fair. On this particularly windy afternoon, we had prepared 20 different activities for children, where they could show their skill and courage and overcome their limits. The eighth grade students prepared a snack stall where they sold homemade delicacies. The fourth grade prepared "lucky pouches" for sale. On October 11th, there was a sale of books and clothes for WOW-Day. The entire amount is supposed to help where it is urgently needed."
