The Goderich Waldorf School, located on the outskirts of the capital Freetown, was founded after the end of the bloody civil war that had raged in Sierra Leone until 2002. Two social workers, who worked with traumatized children, were looking for a different type of school and inspired a group of teachers to initiate this project. The WOW-Day donation helps the school continue its work, buy chalk and notebooks for the lessons, repair benches and desks and much more.
