In the past year, Italy was shaken by multiple, strong earthquakes. There is still enough energy in the rock, so that more are predicted to follow.
Because the region could be evacuated in time in October, there were luckily no deaths due to this earthquake. But most of the residents lost their homes and almost all of their possessions. Now the affected persons must live in hotels, halls, and camps far away from their home towns. For the children, of whom many are traumatised, teachers and aid workers are planning trauma-pedagogical projects.
