Around the world people are still celebrating the Waldorf centennial. In recent weeks, for example, ceremonies have been held in China, India, and Namibia. In China, the oldest Waldorf School of the country, located in Chengdu, held its celebrations on 25 October. In late September, the Indian Waldorf movement celebrated a three-day event in Bangalore, on the grounds of a curative educational school. On 17 October, there was a special celebration in Namibia: the community celebrated not only 100 years of Waldorf but also the 20th anniversary of the Waldorf School in Windhoek. Nangolo Mbumba, Vice-President of Namibia, also attended the event. The trained teacher was acting Minister of Education 20 years ago when the school was founded.
