Last August, the chief of Madietane praised the Lesedi Waldorf School at the so-called "Kraalmeeting". This is a meeting with the chief and twelve old, wise men of the royal family. Dick de Rooji, project manager of Lesedi School took part in it, and reported to the circle of the Elders about the school’s plans. The members were impressed and as a result gave the school official permission to build new classrooms and accommodation. The only condition was that the school would engage local workers in the construction project. The Chief has also promised to fix the road leading up to the school.
