The day care center in the capital of Georgia is facing great difficulties in 2012. Since almost 30 years the initiative works with and cares for people with special needs, people who have previously experienced little support and appreciation. Today, the day care center is an impressive facility. Nearly 45 people come together on a daily basis to work in different workshops.

The very existence of the facility is now threatened inasmuch as the state of Georgia is only providing very few funds to support this work. In a country, which is struggling with great economic hardship, there is little money for the social sector. But the work with people with special needs is an urgent necessity and important for the future. Where else if not in small communities is it possible to get to know and experience a new way of living together?

The local people are in urgent need of our help and they will welcome it with great gratitude and joy. Please do share a little of our wealth to give this work a future. Every small contribution shows solidarity with the local people.
